Dating as Carrie

Dating in New York can be though, as Anne, one of my dearest friends, said the other day. She followed up by stating that most men in this city primarily are in the game of one-night stands and not the kind of long-term relationship that she was looking for.

While I tend to agree with her to some degree, I can't dismiss the fact that during the last couple of years I've had one serious encounter and a few flings. These short dating flings I had never turned to a 'real' relationship, even though I pushed for it. I can't help but wonder if that was the reason.

I have a few friends who's single in Denmark as well, and when I tell them about my life in New York they all imagine my dating life being all like Carrie from SATC. Well, that not quite the life I'm living.


The persons I was dating for a short while was introduced to me through one of the Singles Groups in New York. If you're single I Can definitely recommend you to check out some of the groups - they're on Meetup.

    Hey I was wondering if anyone could tell me which universities are the best (anywhere) for creative writing. I'm not interested in any universities in Ontario because they don’t offer the type of courses I want. I was also wondering if maybe there are schools specifically for creative writing. Please help me out, I have to apply in Dec, and I have no idea where I'm going, I just know that I want to write, because writing is my life, and I can’t see myself doing anything else. Thanks

    The post was excellent. But I want to know that if we do not hold a relation for long time then how can i share personal emotion with anyone who is new in my way. I think holding a good relation will be a better idea.
